WELCOME TO WILSON YOUNGSTOCK
Breeding for Success
Wilson Youngstock is home to around 45 young horses that have either bred or been bought based on there jumping bloodlines in order to be highly successful in the sport. We have some of the best youngstock for sale here in the UK, as well as top showjumping horses and stallions at stud.
Wilson Youngstock is run by James Wilson, his aim is to have horses from the farm eventually successful in the highest level of the sport, either with James or the next rider that chooses to invest in one of the many talents at the farm.
Every field is post and rail fenced and is equipped with an automatic water drinker, which is raised and boarded around to prevent any accidents. Each field is paddock cleaned weekly to keep the fields healthy and the grass growing. Every horse is checked twice daily at the beginning and end of the day to insure that every horses needs are met.
In the winter months all the horses are moved in to a purpose built Youngstock barn, where they are fed on a mixture of hard feed and hay. All the hay is made on the farm, this way we can guarantee that it meets are exacting standards and the quality which our horses deserve.
